Amhult is currently one of Gothenburg's major areas of population growth, where an entirely new suburb is emerging. The development was made possible when Torslanda Airfield was closed in 1977.

There is a clear need for a wider range of retail options. Less than half of the purchasing power in Torslanda is met locally when it comes to everyday goods. There is also a demand for premises for administration, culture, offices, and other services in the district.

In the residential sector, more than 1,500 new homes will be added. Many of the major property companies and developers are involved in these projects, both currently and historically.

Amhult’s appeal lies largely in its exceptional living environment — a rural atmosphere in close proximity to the city. With its location near the Öckerö ferry line, the area offers walking distance to the sea, swimming, and boating in the beautiful Bohuslän archipelago.

On March 8, 2013, the historic groundbreaking took place for Amhult 2’s first property in Amhult Centre. The block, named Luftseglaren, was sold as a tenant-owner association and comprises 52 apartments ranging from 1 to 4 rooms and a kitchen.

Amhult 2 owns and manages three commercial units and the garage beneath the building, which were retained following a 3D property subdivision.

Move-ins for the North Building began in March/April 2025. Kv. Hercules offers 40 modern rental apartments in Amhult Centre, Torslanda. The apartments have a total gross floor area of 3,900 m² and are offered as rental units. All apartments feature either a patio or a balcony, with direct access to the garage and elevator service to each floor.

Kv. India consists of 95 rental apartments ranging from 1 to 4 rooms and a kitchen, located in the northwestern corner of Amhult Centrum. Beneath the building is a garage for both cars and motorcycles, connected to the adjacent Kv. Hercules garage, offering additional parking options. The property was completed in December 2021.

Kv. Luftseglaren 2 is a sister property to Brf Luftseglaren, as the buildings are connected underground. This is our smallest block – but perhaps the most charming – thanks to its southern exposure and views of the future park. Beneath the building is a garage with parking for both cars and motorcycles.

Kv. Radarflyget 1 houses a grocery store, hotel, restaurants, gym, dental care, and physiotherapy services. There is also a garage beneath the entire building for convenient parking.

Kv. Radarflyget 2 consists of a commercial building and a parking garage. The commercial building features retail space on the ground floor and residential units on three upper levels, totaling four floors. It was completed in 2020, while the parking garage was finalized in December 2020.

The block consists of 53 rental apartments, including our two largest units located on the top floor, offering spectacular views over Torslanda and/or the sea. The property also includes a commercial unit. Construction began in August 2015 and was completed at the end of March 2017.

The block is a sister property to Kv. Signalflyget I, as the buildings are connected at the basement level. It consists of one larger and one smaller building, with a pleasant courtyard situated between them.

The block includes a Burger King restaurant on the ground floor, offices on the second floor, and part of Hotel Torslanda on the third and fourth floors.

Spitfire consists of two buildings – the East and West wings – comprising a total of 80 rental apartments, including 5 townhouses. The courtyard offers a welcoming meeting place for residents of all ages.
